Overview

Discover a unique side of Tokyo by combining ancient tradition with the rhythms of everyday Japanese life. This walking tour takes you to three of Tokyo’s most iconic spiritual spots — Meiji Shrine, Kanda Shrine, and Sensoji Temple — while also diving into the surprising world of Japanese convenience stores.

We start at a 7-Eleven in Harajuku, where you’ll grab a quick breakfast like rice balls, sandwiches, or fresh coffee. After enjoying it in nearby Yoyogi Park, we walk to the peaceful Meiji Shrine. From there, we ride the train to Kanda Shrine, a place where historic architecture and anime culture meet. At FamilyMart, we pause for hot snacks and traditional sweets enjoyed by locals every day.

Our final stop is Asakusa, where we explore the vibrant grounds of Sensoji Temple. To wrap up, we visit Lawson for a taste of Japan’s famous convenience store desserts. In just four hours, you’ll experience both the spiritual side of Tokyo and the small, delicious details of daily life in Japan.
